My issue is I would like to turn on Windows Update in the future without have to worry that Windows 7 64 BIT will not start.īryan brytech Posts: 3 Joined: 24.Here you will find links to VirtualBox binaries and its source code.īy downloading, you agree to the terms and conditions of the respective license.
I was able to reproduce this error several times by installing the recommended updates.Īs soon as I turned off Windows Update so it won't install anything the VM became stable and I can now reboot as much as I like. I went back to a snapshot and everything is good. When I tried to boot it gets to the black "Starting Windows" screen where the logo colors fly together but as soon as the 1st pixel of red for the logo appears it hangs and the VM turns off within a few seconds. I selected Shutdown and it installed the 2 new recommended updates I installed Office 07 (32 BIT) and it appeared I now needed an additional 2 recommended updates I downloaded all recommended updates with Microsoft Update (everything was good but note this is MS Update not just Windows Update) I just downloaded VirtualBox on Sat June 5th 2010 so it would be the latest released version. Once this error appeared the Windows 7 Guest would boot up to where the Windows icon appears on the screen and then it would just turn off and the status would be aborted.Īny idea if this is a bug with the latest Virtualbox version and the latest Microsoft required patches?īryan Gawronski brytech Posts: 3 Joined: 24.
